Welcome Our New VA Quality Scholar Fellows

Lori Holleran, PhD MPH: Lori did her undergraduate work at Arizona State University, her MPH at Harvard University, and her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University. She recently finished her psychology internship and the San Francisco VA Medical Center, and her dissertation was focused on risk factors for suicide among previously incarcerated homeless individuals. Lori is interested in studying suicide prevention in the veteran population.

Lauren Hunt, RN, MSN: Lauren did her undergraduate work at Columbia University and received her nursing degrees from Boston College, and she is currently a doctoral candidate at the UCSF School of Nursing. She is currently completing her dissertation work focused on emergency room utilization in the last six months of life.

Kaitlin Willham, MD: Kaitlin did her undergraduate work at Tulane University. She did her medical school and residency in internal medicine at University of Chicago, and she recently completed her geriatrics clinical fellowship at UCSF. Kaitlin is interested in evaluating geriatrics consultation models to improve quality of care.
