John Newman Spoke and Moderated at IAGG UCSF Forum
John Newman, MD, PhD spoke and moderated at the IAGG UCSF Forum, “Redefining Aging: Innovation at UCSF" on July 25. He spoke on “Bringing the Biology of Aging to the Bedside”, describing past and present innovations at UCSF in understand aging biology and applying it to clinical care. He also moderated a panel on “Extending Quality Life Years”, spanning basic to clinical research. Elsewhere at IAGG, he presented a poster describing his work on applying ketogenic therapies to Alzheimer’s mouse models, and presented a session “From Bench to Bedside: Understanding Molecules, Pathways, and Biomarkers to Individualize Care for Older Adults” together with Lauren Massimo at the Hartford NHCGNE Leadership Conference.
