Dr. Stephanie E. Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the UCSF Division of Geriatrics. Her academic focus is in the area of implementation science, program building and quality improvement with a focus on making hospitalizations and transitions safer for older adults. She has designed and is currently working with health system leaders to make UCSF an Age-Friendly Health System. She is a faculty advisor for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) national movement to make 20 percent of health systems Age-Friendly by 2020. Here at UCSF, her leadership roles include being the medical director of the UCSF Delirium Reduction Campaign, the Geriatrics-Orthopedics Co-management service as well as the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit.
