AFED Consult Service Partners with San Francisco Village to Support Older Adults Through Virtual Education Series

Members of the AFED Consult Service team partnered with San Francisco Village to develop a four-part virtual presentation series for SF Village members. These interactive sessions covered fall risk and mitigation, medication self-management, brain health, social service connections, advanced care planning, and loneliness mitigation.

Mary-Anne Cabasagan, MSW; Anna Hines, NP; Mitchel Erickson, DNP; and Camie Kuo, NP each led their own engaging presentations, all of which were well received. Sarah Kent, Program and Creative Director, shared:
"WOW! Thank you all so much! Our members loved these sessions with you. They added the additional benefit that all feel safer knowing caring professionals like you—who understand older adults and their needs—are staffing the ED."

San Francisco Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization designed with, by, and for older San Franciscans and the extended community that champions them.
