Alicia Neumann Presented at the National Adult Protective Services Conference

Alicia Neumann, PhD presented findings from a qualitative evaluation of Adult Protective Services trainings across California at the National Adult Protective Services Conference. Done with a team that included Kate Radcliffe, Anna Chodos, MD and Marian Liu, PhD, the evaluation found that training improved caseworkers’ experience interacting with medical and law enforcement professionals, as well as documenting findings on abuse, neglect and exploitation. This evaluation, done for the CA Department of Social Services, also informed a strategic report to the state legislature on sustaining and improving APS trainings.
