Ashwin Kotwal Co-Hosts National Conference on Person-Centered Social Connection Measures

Ashwin Kotwal, MD, MS, co-hosted a two-day conference in Washington, DC—alongside the Foundation for Social Connection and investigators at Johns Hopkins—funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Titled “Building Consensus: Aligning on Person-Centered Social Connection Measures,” the conference convened older adults, patient advocates, funders, community organizations, and researchers to identify priorities in the field of social connection and health, as well as key measurement challenges to address.
