Bay Area Older Adult Community Resource of the Week - Emergency Broadband Relief

This week's "Bay Area Older Adult Community Resource of the week" to be featured is the Emergency Broadband Relief Program, which is a temporary internet payment of $50 per month for households that qualify.  Link for qualifications and to apply is listed below:

You can receive the Emergency Broadband Benefit if you (or someone in your household) participates in one of these federal assistance programs:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors BenefitFree and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program
