Brie Williams Served as Medical Expert on Mr. Albert Woodfox's Case Who Has Now Published a Memoir

In 2006, Brie Williams, MD, MS served as a medical expert on Mr. Albert Woodfox’s legal case.  In February 2016, he was released from prison after he had spent more than 40 years in solitary confinement.  His recently released memoir “Solitary: Unbroken by Four Decades in Solitary Confinement.  My Story of Transformation and Hope.” is an important story about resilience and the inhumanity of solitary confinement.  The review in The New York Times is available here: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/04/books/review-solitary-albert-woodfox.html
