Carla Perissinotto Participates in 2021 Age Boom Academy

Carla Perissinotto, MD, MHS is participating in the 2021 Age Boom Academy "Combating Loneliness in Aging: Toward a 21st Century Blueprint for Societal Connectedness" hosted by the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center in partnership with the Columbia Journalism School. The 20-year old Age Boom Academy is a training for journalists presented by the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center with its partner the Columbia Journalism School. Over the course of a month starting on May 6, scientists and journalists will come together to explore the topic of loneliness and isolation in our society and how to work toward societal connectedness, particularly for older adults.
