Covinsky, Harrison, and Hunt Co-Author JAMA Study on Rural-Urban Disparities in Hospice Care

Kenneth Covinsky, MD, MPH, Krista Harrison, PhD, Lauren Hunt, PhD, RN, FNP, and colleagues have published a new study in JAMA examining rural-urban disparities in hospice care. The study, “Rural-Urban Disparities in the Delivery and Intensity of the Medicare Hospice Benefit,” explores geographic differences in the delivery and intensity of hospice services among Medicare beneficiaries.
