Daphne Lo, Michi Yukawa and Oona Bernhardt awarded SFVAHCS Shining Star Award

Drs. Daphne Lo and Michi Yukawa were presented with a “Shining Star Award” by the SFVAHCS Chief of Staff, Dr. Bruce Ovbiagele during the strategic leadership meeting on 3/22. Drs. Lo and Yukawa received this award for their inspiring work and leadership of the SFVA Home Based Primary Care and Community Living Center, respectively, programs caring veterans with complex medical, social and psychological problems.

Oona Bernhardt, previous SFVAHCS GPEC Presidential Scholar, also received a ‘Shining Star Award” from the Medical Center Director, Bonnie Graham, for Oona's innovative and creative ideas to improve clinical systems in the SFVAHCS.
