Elizabeth Dzeng Presented Research on End-of-Life Care at UCSF Critical Care Grand Rounds
Elizabeth Dzeng, PhD, MD, MPH, MPhil, MS presented at UCSF Critical Care Grand Rounds last Thursday on her research titled "How do hospital norms and organizational factors influence the intensity of life-sustaining treatments provided near the end of life?" Dr. Dzeng’s presentation focused on her research about systems level factors that contribute to high-intensity and potentially non-beneficial life-sustaining treatments during serious illness.
