Geriatrics at ZSFG

This week Louise Walter, MD and Maxine Davis started to attend ZSFG Division Chief and Manager meetings with the goal of building a geriatrics division hub at ZSFG.  The vision is for our division to have hubs at all sites: UCSF/VA/ZSFG.  There are currently 7 geriatricians (with primary or secondary appointments in Geriatrics) who work at ZSFG and/or SFDPH.

  1. Louise Aronson, MD works on SFDPH COVID response
  2. Anna Chodos, MD is the Director of Whole Person Geriatrics for the SF Health Network, Medical Director for the Geriatrics Consult Service, sees patients in the Richard Fine Peoples Clinic, Medical Director of the Geriatrics Neurology Cognitive Clinic, and has a major role in the SFDPH COVID response
  3. Meredith Greene, MD works in the Positive Health Program Ward 86/Golden Compass program and the SFDPH COVID response
  4. Candace Kim, MD works on ZSFG ACE
  5. Carla Perissinotto, MD works at the Southeast Health Center, a primary care health center of SFHN Primary Care in the Bayview Hunter’s Point neighborhoods.
  6. Edgar Pierluissi, MD works on ZSFG ACE
  7. Leah Rorvig, MD works in the Family Health Center at ZSFG and directs the geriatrics curriculum for the UCSF Family & Community Medicine Residency.
