James Deardorff and Research Team Publish Article in JGIM

James Deardorff, MD, Alexandra Lee, PhD, MSPH, Kaiwei Lu, MS, Bocheng Jing, MS, John Boscardin, PhD, Brie Williams, MD, MS, Sei Lee, MD, Alexander Smith, MD, MPH, MS, and others published an article entitled "Development of a Mortality Prediction Model for Incarcerated Adults to Identify Palliative Care Needs" in the Journal of General Internal Medicine. This tool will be used by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to identify individuals who may most benefit from advance care planning discussions, palliative care services, and compassionate release referrals.
