Jennifer Lai's Research Team Publish Findings in JAMA Surgery

Jennifer Lai, MD's team recently published findings from their 8-center Functional Assessment in Liver Transplantation (FrAILT) network in JAMA Surgery identifying “frailty” (as measured by our team’s Liver Frailty Index) as a key contributor to the gender gap in mortality in liver transplantation.  The Multi-Center FrAILT Study was established by a Beeson award under the mentorship of Ken Covinsky, MD.
