Lauren Hunt, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, Receives NIA R01 Funding to Study Hospice Disparities

Congratulations to Lauren Hunt, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, whose R01, “Identifying Structural Drivers of Hospice Disparities: The Role of Hospice Markets,” was funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA)! The study will examine how regional differences in hospice markets contribute to disparities in access and quality, with the goal of informing strategies to ensure high-quality hospice care for all older adults. Krista Harrison, PhD; Alex Smith, MD, MPH, MS; John Boscardin, PhD; and Jen James, PhD, MS, MSW are co-investigators on the project.
