Lingsheng Li Receives NIH Pilot Award to Improve Surrogate Decision-Making for Chinese-Speaking Care Partners

Congratulations to Lingsheng Li, MD, MHS who recently an NIH pilot award through the Center for Aging in Diverse Communities on “Improving the Surrogate Decision-Making Experience for Care Partners of Chinese-Speaking Older Adults with Serious Illness”.  The goal of this project is to understand the experiences of care partners who assist Chinese-speaking older adults with medical care planning and surrogate decision-making.  This understanding will serve as the foundation for creating a culturally sensitive program to better prepare care partners for their caregiving role.  Congratulations again for receiving funding to continue this important work!
