MSTAR Alum Sandra Zeng and UCSF Team Publish Study on Age-Friendly Inpatient Geriatrics Care

Previous MSTAR student Sandra Zeng, along with team James Harrison, PhD, Melody Luo, MPH, Sarah Ngo, MLIS, John Boscardin, PhD, and Stephanie Rogers, MD published a paper in JAGs this week:  Impact of ACE Units and Geriatrics Consults on Adherence to the 4Ms and Patient Outcomes.  They found that inpatient Geriatrics models like ACE units and Geriatrics consults improve adherence to Age-Friendly care practice, but the effect on clinical outcomes is mixed.
