Projecting Credibility and Confidence workshop

SpeechSkills Principal trainer Megan Timpane hosted a seminar for Division of Geriatrics members that focused on examining the power of the “subtextual” conversation. Participants learned about cultivating personal presence; recognizing and preventing the “tells” of nervousness and intimidation; striking a balance between authority and approachability; demonstrating composure under pressure; and avoiding unintentional, status-lowering behaviors.
