Sarah Garrett Accepted into CTSI KL2 Program!

Sarah Garrett, PhD is accepted into the CTSI KL2 program! During the CTSI KL2, Sarah will focus on hospitals' efforts to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in maternal health. She will: (1) investigate how diverse hospitals approach improving maternal health equity; (2) develop, pretest, and refine a survey to measure institutional characteristics and implementation processes that influence maternal health equity interventions; and (3) document specific recommendations, generated by BIPOC birthing people, for how hospitals can involve community members in the guidance and accountability of systems-level health equity interventions.
