Welcome Dr. Kenneth Lam!
This week we are delighted to welcome Dr. Kenneth Lam to the UCSF Division of Geriatrics faculty. Dr. Lam completed his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2019 and recently received a master’s degree in training in clinical research with us in 2021, as well as completed his VAQS Fellowship with us in 2021. He is joining our research scientist faculty to work on career development activities funded by his Clinical & Translational Science Institute KL2 Award and collaborations with the SFVAHCS Emergency Department leaders to evaluate outcomes of the implementation of the SFVAHCS Geriatrics Emergency Department. He will also serve as an attending for UCSF Short-Stay Rehabilitation at the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL), working with Dr. Michi Yukawa in providing medical care to a panel of UCSF patients in the SFCJL Short-Stay Rehabilitation Unit. He will also be teaching Geriatrics and Geriatrics Palliative Care Fellows, medical residents, and medical students who rotate through our clinical and research programs. Please join me in welcoming Kenny to the faculty!
