Welcome Ismael Tellez!

Please welcome Ismael Tellez who will be working with Dr. Rebecca Sudore’s PREPARE team as a Project Policy Analyst I (Research Program Assistant). He is currently enrolled in a graduate program at San Francisco State University where he will earn his Master’s degree in Gerontology. As part of his master's program, Ismael began working with the PREPARE team as a Visiting Scholar in May 2019 to recruit study participants and collect data related to advance care planning and medical decision-making.  He has also previously worked in the Cognition and Aging Lab at San Francisco State University where he recruited participants, scheduled and conduct screenings and interviews, and updated laboratory files for geriatric patients. As a Program Assistant, Ismael will report to Aiesha Volow, Research Program Manager, and will provide support on a range of projects related to Dr. Sudore's advance care planning research program, including participant recruitment and interviews, Spanish translation, advance care planning outreach and PREPARE For Your Care support. Ismael will be stationed at Laurel Heights, 4th floor (Suite 430) and can be reached at [email protected], phone #415.502.3712.  If you get a chance to meet him, please welcome him to the team!
