Welcome Maia Miller!

Please join us in welcoming Maia Miller, San Francisco Health Network Program Manager for Dementia Care Aware!

Maia started this past Monday and will be working closely with the Dementia Care Aware (DCA) team serving as the Program Manager for the San Francisco Health Network (SFHN).  Maia has a Master of Science in Health Care Administration, is a Certified Trauma Professional, as well as a California State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.  She has over twenty-five years of experience as a healthcare professional in clinical, sales, and management positions and is Founder, Consultant and Coach for A. Maia Miller Consulting, a private coaching program that supports and guides adult women survivors of childhood sexual trauma.  Some of Maia’s healthcare positions include: Vice President of Business Development for Children’s Health of Northern California, Senior Clinical Liaison for the Hospital Division at Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area, and Director of Business Development for Core Healthcare Centers / The Rehabilitation Center of Oakland.  Maia brings extensive experience in healthcare programs and systems implementation, and is highly proficient in interpreting, analyzing, and presenting healthcare data.  In her new role as SFHN Program Manager for the DCA, Maia will liaise with SFHN leadership and key stakeholders, support health systems implementations in alignment with strategic and operational plans, lead DCA-SFHN program evaluation and improvement initiatives, support data collection and research efforts, and support a team of clinical and care management staff to help everyone stay on track to meet program deliverables for the State.  We’ve very excited to work with Maia and for her to join the ever-growing DCA team!  Clara Park, Director of Strategy for DCA, has graciously volunteered to be Maia’s onboarding buddy.  Maia can be reached at [email protected] and will be stationed at Mission Bay, and her phone # is 415-514-9874.  Help us welcome Maia virtually or in-person!
