Welcome Missy Cheese!

Please join us in welcoming Missy Cheese, MSW, LCSW, ACM, CCATP, Dementia Care Aware, Clinical Social Worker, to the Division! 

Missy holds a Master of Social Work degree with a Health and Older Adults Concentration from University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Minor in Applied Psychology. 

Missy brings eleven years of experience as a licensed social worker to our team! Most recently, she worked as Licensed Clinical Social Worker III at the Department of Medicine at UCLA Health, where she conducted outpatient psychosocial assessments, provided brief counseling and crisis intervention. She also completed multiple certifications and professional development trainings. Missy is bilingual (English and she could write and read in Thai).

In her new role as Clinical Social Worker for the Dementia Care Aware (DCA) San Francisco Health Network’s (SFHN) primary care clinics, Missy will work closely with the DCA Implementation Team to support the design and implementation of program interventions for a client population of adults with dementia and their care partners.
