Welcome Varsha Miller!
Please join us in welcoming Varsha Miller, RN MS ANP-BC, Age-Friendly Emergency Department (AFED) Nurse Practitioner, to the Division!
Varsha earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley, a Master of Science degree in Nursing, Specialty: Adult Nurse Practitioner from UCSF, and completed her Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Education in Patient Aligned Care Team at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Most recently, Varsha held a Community Health Systems Assistant Clinical Professor position at the UCSF School of Nursing serving as a clinical preceptor for Adult Nurse Practitioner students.
As telemedicine is all the rage these days, Varsha is also well-equipped in that respect. She was a Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner for Forward San Francisco, where she remotely triaged, diagnosed, and treated patients via online chat-based platform. Her other clinical experience include: completing an HIV Primary Care Residency through the UCSF Women’s HIV Program, working in the UCSF Viral Hepatitis Clinic, as well as working at the San Francisco General Hospital Family Health Center Urgent Care. We are so excited that Varsha has joined our growing team and can’t wait to see the impact she will have on our program’s success!
Varsha will be working closely with the AFED Team and can be reached at [email protected]. Please reach out and give her warm welcome!!!
