Alex Smith, MD, MS, MPH was quoted in a New York Times article entitled, "Do Cancer Centers Push Too Many Tests?" on July 17th.  “Prognosis is one of the key factors in decision making,” Dr. Smith said. “Are patients going to live long enough to experience the benefits?”ePrognosis, an online guide co-developed by Dr. Smith, is also mentioned as an alternative site for older patients seeking to determine if they should be screened for cancer.
