Angela Suen Publishes in CHEST on End-of-Life Care Utilization

Angela Suen, MD, has published a study in CHEST titled "Differences in Healthcare and Palliative Care Utilization at the End of Life: A Comparison Study Between Lung Cancer, COPD, and IPF." The study found that individuals with COPD and IPF had lower rates of palliative care utilization and higher rates of intensive care at the end of life compared to those with lung cancer. Dr. Suen conducted this research at UCSF under the mentorship of Dr. Ashwin Kotwal and Dr. Rebecca Sudore.
