Anoop Sheshadri Wins "Shark Tank" at Clin-STAR Annual Meeting

Dr. Anoop Sheshadri, GEMSSTAR recipient mentored by Drs. Jennifer Lai and Rebecca Sudore, has received an award as the winner of “Shark Tank” at the Clin-STAR Annual Meeting 2020. The “Shark Tank” is an opportunity for participants to practice their research program “elevator pitch.” Each participant begins with a 2-minute pitch using 3 slides, following by 6 minutes of feedback from the other participants and a 4-minutes summary from the judges. The judges follow a strict timetable and identify a “winner” at the end of the session. The winners are invited to be featured in a Clin-STAR Journey Story in 2021!
