Ashwin Kotwal and Team Publish COVID-19 Research in JAGS

Ashwin Kotwal, MD, MS, Julianne Holt-Lunstad, PhD, Rebecca Newmark, BA, Irena Cenzer, MA, Alex Smith, MD, MPH, MS, Ken Covinsky, MD, MPH, Danielle Escueta, BS, Jina Lee, BS, and Carla Perissinotto, MD, MHS published their research article entitled "Social Isolation and Loneliness Among San Francisco Bay Area Older Adults During the COVID‐19 Shelter‐in‐Place Orders" in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.  Measures of loneliness included self‐reported worsened loneliness due to the COVID‐19 pandemic, and loneliness severity based on the 3‐item UCLA loneliness scale.
