Catherine Chen awarded NIH K23 Research Continuity and Retention Supplement

Catherine L. Chen, MD, MPH, Associate Professor in the UCSF Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Care and Core Faculty at the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies, has been awarded a NIH K23 Research Continuity and Retention Supplement from the National Institute on Aging in the amount of $70,000 to study “Frailty and Monitored Anesthesia Care for Cataract Surgery in Older Adults.”
