Charlotte Scheerens Publish Study in the European Respiratory Journal

Dr. Charlotte Scheerens, a visiting graduate scholar in Dr. Rebecca Sudore’s PREPARE team, published a population cohort study on COPD and palliative home care, in the European Respiratory Journal. 

Key message is that those who received palliative home care between two years and one month before death in Belgium (2010-2015), used more patient-centered care such as GP visits, comfort medication and non-invasive ventilation in the last month of life than those who did not.
