Congratulations Drs. Krista Harrison and Kenneth Lam for Receiving 2019 UCSF MSTAR Mentor Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Krista Harrison for being chosen as the 2019 UCSF MSTAR Research Mentor Awardee and Dr. Kenneth Lam for being chosen as the 2019 UCSF MSTAR Clinical Mentor Awardee.  Dr. Harrison worked with student doctor Gabrielle Dressler (Brown) on a project entitled, Discussing Death, “Aggressive” Treatment, and Being Full Code in Hospice: “Too intimate, too close, too hot”.  Students raved about Dr. Lam’s frequent mini-teaching sessions and his practical tips for caring for older hospitalized adults.
