Division of Geriatrics Faculty Have Multiple Oral Presentations at AAHPM

Four faculty (Christine Ritchie, MD, MSPH, Rebecca Sudore, MD, Eric Widera, MD and Alex Smith, MD, MPH, MS) were selected to give oral presentations at the national meeting of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) in Orlando Florida.  Dr. Ritchie will present "Evaluating the Quality of Pain Treatment Among the Seriously-Ill Population."  Drs. Widera and Smith are presenting "Podcasting in Hospice and Palliative Care."  Dr. Sudore has three oral presentations focused on Advance Care Planning  and the PREPARE randomized clinical trial results and is giving a workshop about "Improving the Care of Culturally Diverse Patients."  All presentations are scheduled for this week.
