Dr. Sandra Moody Receives 2025 Medicine Subspecialist Consultant of the Year Award

Congratulations to Dr. Sandra Moody!

We are thrilled to share that Dr. Sandra Moody, former Director of the Palliative Care Service at ZSFG, was selected as the 2025 recipient of the Henry F. (Chip) Chambers, MD, Medicine Subspecialist Consultant of the Year Award. This award recognizes outstanding contributions and support to the Medical Service at ZSFG.

During her tenure, Dr. Moody relaunched and rebuilt the palliative care service, co-founded the palliative care nurse liaison program, and enhanced care for patients while supporting staff across the hospital. Her dedication and leadership have had a lasting impact on the ZSFG community.
