Drs. Dharmasukrit, Tang, and Colleagues Publish Paper in Annals of Surgery

Charlie Dharmasukrit, PhD, MS, RN, former VA Quality Scholar, and Victoria Tang, MD, MAS published a paper entitled "Public Opinions about Surgery in Older Adults: A Thematic Analysis" in Annals of Surgery. Co-authors included Alexis Colley, MD, MS, and former UCSF MSTAR student Meghan Dutt, MD, MS. Paper findings suggest that the U.S. health systems should strongly consider adopting programs that provide multidisciplinary care to meet the unique needs of older adults undergoing surgery.
