Drs. Harrison, Covinsky, and Smith Awarded UCSF Claude D. Pepper Older Adults Independence Center Supplement

Drs. Krista Harrison, Ken Covinsky, and Alexander Smith​ were awarded a supplement to the UCSF Claude D. Pepper Older Adults Independence Center. This novel work will quantify and characterize older adults dying with comorbid dementia while receiving hospice care for another condition. Our findings will help identify opportunities to improve hospice care and policy for hospice decedents dying with or from dementia.
