Drs. Hunt and Harrison Publish Editorial in JAGS

Drs. Lauren Hunt and Krista Harrison published an editorial in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society entitled “Live discharge from hospice for people living with dementia isn't "graduating"-It's getting expelled”.  They argue that high rates of live discharge from hospice among people living with dementia is a serious problem that makes the end‐of‐life experience worse for patients and caregivers and that people living with dementia and their caregivers deserve not to be abandoned at the end of life when they are at their most vulnerable and exhausted.
