Drs. Lam and Lee Publish Commentary in JAMA Internal Medicine

Kenneth Lam, MD and Sei Lee, MD published a commentary entitled "Prediabetes—A Risk Factor Twice Removed" in JAMA Internal Medicine. A recent article indicated older adults with prediabetes rarely go on to develop diabetes, and they are more likely to die or revert to normal blood sugar levels. This commentary asks: if prediabetes never leads any consequential illness, should we be worried about it at all?
