Drs. Lee and Smith awarded NIH funds to identify patients most appropriate for hospice and palliative care

Drs. Sei Lee and Alex Smith were funded by the NIH to lead a 4 hospital consortium (UCSF, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins and Beth Israel Deaconess) to use electronic health record data to identify hospitalized patients most appropriate for hospice and palliative care.
