Drs. Lo, Pierluissi, Chang led UCSF MS4 Students to Publish Curriculum Development Article

UCSF MS4 students under the leadership of Drs. Daphne Lo, Edgar Pierluissi, Anna Chang, and the Clinical Microsystems Clerkship team published a curriculum development article on their innovative and collaborative COVID-19 Elective in the international education journal Academic Medicine. Within weeks of COVID-19 limiting students from fully participating in clinical clerkships, the CMC leadership team partnered with a group of exceptional students to rapidly design, implement, and evaluate a new COVID-19 Elective. The elective engaged students in UCSF and UCSF-affiliated health systems (ZSFGH and SFVAHCS) in new ways of learning and working.
