Drs. Wong, Walter, and Miaskowski Publish Research through the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology

Melisa Wong, MD, MAS, Louise Walter, MD, Chris Miaskowski, RN, PhD, and collaborators through the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology published their research article entitled “Expanding Beyond Maximum Grade: Chemotherapy Toxicity over Time by Age and Performance Status in Advanced Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer in CALGB 9730 (Alliance A151729).” Using their novel toxicity over time approach to analyzing chemotherapy toxicity, they identified important longitudinal differences in fatigue and neuropathy that are missed by the traditional maximum grade approach.
