Kristie Hsu published paper in JAGS

Kristie Hsu, MD a current UCSF Internal Medicine Chief Resident published the paper "In sickness and in health: Loneliness, depression, and the role of marital quality among spouses of persons with dementia" in JAGS. UCSF collaborators include Irena Cenzer and Krista Harrison, PhD. The study used a US population-based sample of 4071 couples, and found that nearly 1 in 3 spouses of persons living with dementia experienced frequent loneliness, and 1 in 6 spouses of persons living dementia experienced depressive symptoms.
