Liz Dzeng Awarded RCCN's Inter-NIA Center Pilot Award on Life Course Perspectives on Aging and Resilience
Dr. Liz Dzeng, Pepper Scholar and Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine, was recently awarded the RCCN's Inter-NIA Center Pilot Award on Life Course Perspectives on Aging and Resilience. Through this grant, Liz will be able to pilot a new qualitative, community-based participatory research project on structural racism in palliative care in the Bay Area as well as in Birmingham, Alabama in partnership with colleagues at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. With current events in perspective, her work will be especially timely.
