Meredith Greene participated in a Congressional Policy Briefing on HIV & Aging

On December 5^th, Dr. Meredith Greene participated in a Congressional Policy Briefing on HIV & Aging policy issues sponsored by SAGE and co-sponsored by the Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus and the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus in honor of World AIDS Day.  The event was for Congressional staffers and included remarks from Representative Barbara Lee, Representative David Cicilline, and Mr. Harold Phillips, Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. Dr. Greene was part of a panel including long term HIV survivors who shared their experiences.   She spoke about some of the challenges facing  older adults living with HIV and long-term HIV survivors she encounters in her clinical practice.
