National Palliative Care Research Cooperative (PCRC) Group Funded for Next 5 Years

The National Palliative Care Research Cooperative (PCRC) Group, recently received word from the National Institute for Nursing Research (NINR) that they had been funded for the next 5 years.  The PCRC is a national, interdisciplinary research community focused on advancing rigorous palliative care science and improving care for people with serious illness. The PCRC now includes close to 450 members and a growing network of over 150 clinical sites across the nation (and in 6 other countries).  Christine Ritchie MD, MSPH, is one of 3 co-PIs leading the PCRC and also serves as Director of the PCRC Investigator Development Center, which offers an annual Palliative Care Clinical Trials Intensive, Pilot awards, and monthly training webinars.
