Janice Schwartz, MD, in collaboration with Israeli colleagues Naomi Gronich and Walid Saliba, published Prevalence and Proportion by Age and Sex of Chronic Health Conditions in a Large Healthcare System in PLOS ONE that demonstrated age and gender distribution for 26 chronic diseases and 21 types of cancers in order to provide reference data for matching representation of participants in clinical trials to populations of patients.
