Rebecca Conant Named Master Clinician!
Rebecca Conant, MD has been named a Master Clinician in the UCSF Department of Medicine. The Council of Master Clinicians was established by the department to honor members of our faculty whose main professional focus is clinical care, and who provide such care with uncommon skill and grace. In essence, our Master Clinicians are “the doctor’s doctors.”
Dr. Conant's nomination packet was exceptionally notable for her national expertise in home-based care, her personal care for each and every patient and family, and her thoughtfulness in orchestrating difficult transitions of care from the inpatient to the outpatient setting.
Dr. Conant's nomination letters were filled with comments like these:
- “Dr. Conant is the expert in home-based medical care who others turn to when they need assistance caring for medically and socially complex, homebound patients.”
