Sarah Ngo Awarded WINGS Employee Development Grant

Congratulations to Sarah Ngo, MLIS, CCRP for receiving a $495 Grant from the WINGS Employee Development Grants For School of Medicine Career Staff Employees!  Sarah will use these funds to support her course fees for a hands-on artificial intelligence course to learn the fundamental concepts of Deep Learning, the use of popular Deep Learning libraries, to build, train, and deploy different types of Deep Architectures, and to apply what she learns to real-world scenarios such as object recognition and Computer Vision, image and video processing, text analytics, and other types of classifiers.  Related to the GWEP, Sarah is creating a chart review tool for program to analyze medication management of high-risk medications and benzos. She is also trying to apply NLP to identify thematically what patients value within their Annual Wellness Visit.  This certificate and these sessions will help her obtain better insight into building these tools.  Go Sarah!
