UCSF ED Accredited as Level 1 Geriatrics Emergency Department by ACEP

The UCSF Emergency Department has been accredited as a Level I Geriatrics Emergency Department by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)!  Congratulations to our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and case managers on a job well done!  The new UCSF Age-Friendly ED (AFED) leadership team includes Mitch Erickson, RN, MS, ANP, emergency physicians Drs. James Hardy and Nida Degesys, and Geriatricians Drs. Todd James and Stephanie Rogers.
