US News & World Report Ranks UCSF Geriatrics as #5 in the US for Geriatric Care

Geriatrics clinical care in UCSF Health continues our upward trajectory of success given our growth in clinical programs.  US News & World Report ranks UCSF Geriatrics as #5 in the United States for clinical care. Our Geriatrics clinical programs now extend multiple settings.  On the inpatient unit at Parnassus with Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) consults and orthopedics Co-management led by Dr. Stephanie Rogers to the outpatient setting with our embedded consults in Hematology, Oncology, Pulmonary and Positive 360, Osher Center attended by Drs. Natalie Young, Leah Witt, Laura Perry and Meredith Greene, and Louise Aronson, our Care at Home team led by Dr. Carla Perissinotto and our UC Center for Geriatric Care led by Dr. Daniel Pound.  Our fantastic clinical teams help to continue our upward movement in hospital rankings for Geriatric clinical care.  In 2016 UCSF Health was ranked #15 in Geriatrics and in 2017 UCSF Health was ranked #10 in Geriatrics. See link here.
